Who we are and how it all began:
Air Dream College is a new aviation school in Lisbon and Évora that brings together all of the necessary elements to help you realize your dreams… FLY!
This project originated from the dream of three friends to build a perfect aeronautical school, the best in Portugal and, maybe, one of the best in Europe in the not-too-distant future.
We chose Évora because of its weather conditions and the availability of air space, which allows us to fly for 85 percent of the year.
New aircraft that will allow students to learn perfectly
Instructors with enormous experience and excellent technical and pedagogical skills.
Classes with a maximum of 12 students which allows for a better closeness, relationship, interaction between trainer and student.
A b-learning system sponsored by a network that enables students to resolve all limitations in terms of time, space, schedules, distance, and costs (the first school in Europe to be accredited with a b-learning course). This platform, which is compatible with all devices, offers users access to all classes, information, and manuals, as well as the ability to connect with trainers and school administration at any time.
Diversity of courses in the aeronautical field in order to create all the conditions to train professionals of excellence.
Innovation, Rigor and Quality
- This project will be focused on technical advances in the field of aeronautical training in order to elevate students to a higher level.
We’ve built a distance learning platform that removes time, distance, and travel constraints. We are the first school in Europe to be accredited to offer the B-Learning Flight Operations Officers / Dispatch Officers course.- We developed our own Operational Manuals, which have already been accredited by the National Civil Aviation Authority (ANAC), and we bet on creative training methods that emphasize the practical aspect of the course, backed up by three platforms that handle the student’s academic life while also providing all of the knowledge and follow-up needed to provide excellent instruction.
- This is a project located at the Évora Municipal Aerodromo, enabling the enjoyment of the region’s added value in terms of favorable weather conditions, which make this region the only European location with such conditions.
- A place where you can fly 85 percent of the time in the year. Évora has a lot of open air space, which encourages students to travel more frequently.
In addition to these resources, there will be simulators with the same technical characteristics as real aircraft in which trainees / students can develop their skills in emergency situations that can be planned regardless of weather conditions and without jeopardizing student safety.
The simulator will not minimize real flight hours, but it will enhance its characteristics to make the practical part more enjoyable. As a result, it enables a more efficient and engaging teaching environment, complete with a secure system of reviewing procedures and recognizing shortcomings.
We aim to expand our productive capacity over time by diversifying our course offerings to meet market demands.
- In addition to the 210 hours of actual flight time, students can take glider courses to learn theoretical subjects like aerodynamics and meteorology, as well as technical skills like situational awareness and emotional regulation.
Air Dream College main goal is to shape the new aviation professionals, in both technical and psychologically, to be able to make the best and right decisions in adverse conditions.
Air Dream College take this commitment seriously, that is why our classes have only 12 students. This allows us to work in detail and with the necessities that each student has, making them responsible, efficient and highly qualified. Also very important to Air Dream College is the time line that we give to all our students. When we say a time line, we keep it!
Fewer students per class also means flexibility in schedule from both, Air Dream College and students, proximity, interactivity and bond between instructors/students.
Despite of the technological conditions Air Dream College give, we also demand effort, responsibility and dedication so the student can finish as soon as he/she can but in an exemplar way.
Air Dream College gathered a team of experient instructors with the right academic knowledge and the pedagogic skills focused on the students to give them the tools to become responsible, efficient and highly qualified aviation professionals.
Air Dream College other goal is to teach, the correct, Safety and Security, skills to our Pilots and OD. We adapt our contents to the right specifications at the time we teach. This is translated in the most high standards, in what aviation Safety and Security concerns, to minimize the risk of flaws and human errors.
The concept of Quality, today, it is understood as a continuous process of client satisfaction.
Air Dream College, as an aviation school, in order to become the best in conditions for its student bought an entirely new fleet of aircrafts. They are built to transmit the real feeling and pleasure to fly and at the same time safely and securely. Equipped with the latest, digital and analogical, technology our aircrafts bring the new sense of the 21st century flight.
Air Dream College assembled a team of permanent instructors with perfect, both, technical and pedagogic skills and with the experience, we know, it will make a difference in the future for our students.
